Rotherham Centre; Don Canal: Meadow Pipit - 1 - confiding bird feeding by canal, presumably forced down by bad weather

Sheffield Centre: Mistle Thrush - 3 - Noisily squabbling over berries on Arundel Street

Walkley garden: Fieldfare - c 30 - Flew in to ash tree from N and down into gardens.

Whiteley Woods: Treecreeper - 1 ; Long-tailed Tit - 3 ; Grey Wagtail - 1 ; FIRECREST - 1 - late afternoon in trees by Shepherd Wheel.

Bingham Park: Kingfisher - 1 - Male, stalked by Black & White cat on far bank - seen it before, it fell in the water the other week as it attempted to get at birds.
