- Cinder Bridge Road: Redwing - 5 - probably roosted by Glossop Lodge ; Song Thrush - 1 - singing by Glossop Lodge ; Barn Owl - 1 - hunting fields either side of road until c0800hrs, mobbed by Magpies
- Greasbrough: Greenfinch - 3 - 1 singing, allotments; 2 Harold Croft ; Goldcrest - 1 - singing from ivy covered tree, Harold Croft ; Song Thrush - 1 - singing from allotments
- Greasbrough; fields to E: Song Thrush - 3 - singing ; Red-legged Partridge - 11 ; Pheasant - 5 - cocks ; Chaffinch - 3 ; Kestrel - 1 ; Long-tailed Tit - 2+ ; Sparrowhawk - 1 - hunting ; Mallard - 4 - 2 E; pair on stream ; Reed Bunting - 3 - in wet, rushy area ; Jackdaw - c100 - wheeling over, settled in top of tree before dropping down into field to forage ; Moorhen - 1 - feeding by stream
Green Moor: Tree Sparrow - 17+ - In the garden ; Barn Owl - 1 - Orgreave Lakes: Goldeneye - 6 - 4 Drakes ; Mediterranean Gull - 1 - adult attaining summer plumage with Black-headed Gulls on main lake then circled up with flock for 10 mins before leaving NW presumably to roost. ;
, Goldeneye - 7 - 3m, 4f ; Goosander - 6 ; Common Buzzard - 2 ; Great Crested Grebe - 3 - one main lake, two on small lake. ; Oystercatcher - 3 ; Little Grebe - 1 - main lake - Rivelin Valley: Red Kite - 1 - Flying close to A57 in westerly direction over the field on south side of road. Forked tail clearly seen.
St Georges Church: Peregrine - 2 - 1 adult metal ring on right leg feeding on pigeon. Joined by last year's young male DVD darvic ring - Stone Moor: Curlew - 10 - In usual assembly point.
