  • Big moor: Grasshopper Warbler - 1 - Singing opposite the Red Grouse pub.
  • Bolehill Flash: Tree Sparrow - 2+ - Pair feeding young in wall of Flatts Farm
  • Bull Clough: Golden Plover - 4 - 2 territories
  • Canklow Woods: Grasshopper Warbler - 1 - reeling between 1600 and 1800
  • Chatsworth: Sand Martin - 2 - Pair entering hole on riverbank opposite the main house.
  • Ewden Height: Red Grouse - 1 - One at Ewden Height the only grouse seen or heard during five-hour, 15 km walk across moorland from here to Strines.
  • Froggatt Bridge: Cuckoo - 2 - One singing was and one singing east of the river.
  • Graves Park: Nuthatch - 1 ; Treecreeper - 1
  • Handsworth: Chaffinch - 1 - Singing at Handsworth Cerm 15.20. ; Skylark - 1 - Singing over field East of Crem.
  • Harden Clough: Golden Plover - 8 - 4 territories from top of Bull Clough to Harden Trig Point ; Snipe - 1 - territory between top of Bull Clough and Harden Trig Point ; Snipe - 1 - territory between top of Bull Clough and Harden Trig Point ; Dunlin - 2 - at least 2 territories established between top of Bull Clough and Harden Trig Point - display noted ; Red Kite - 1 - overhead ; Marsh Harrier - 1 - imm male
  • Hillsborough Park: Mute Swan - 7 - Pair + 4 juv (about moorhen-sized) + 2cy bird still present.
  • Hingcliff Common: Meadow Pipit - 10 - 5 pairs ; Stonechat - 1 - male alarming in suitable breeding habitat ; Linnet - 1 - male singing
