Malin Bridge: Swift - 30+ - Most of the day,30-50 + swifts screaming high up with groups of 5-6 coming down to below heave level along Norris rd.At 19:45 ,50+ swifts with flock of 30+ black headed gulls in thermals high up over Norris road area.

R Don, Effingham St: Yellow-legged Gull - 1 - adult ; Moorhen - 4 - two pairs with 3 and 2 small chicks, close together ; Grey Heron - 1 - picking Minnows from large shoal.

R Don, Stevenson Road: Yellow-legged Gull - 1 - adult ; Common Gull - 1 - ad ; Black-headed Gull - c220 - feeding on insects on ground ; Herring Gull - 5 ; Kingfisher - 2 - noisy chasing, presumably juvs ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - 30
