Sothall: Goldfinch - 50+ - dropping in to roost in a laurel bush ; Lesser Redpoll - 2+ - roosting with Goldfinch in a large laurel bush

Carbrook: Kestrel - 1 - male, flew low over busy crossroads and landed on roof of Sheffield Forgemasters building where it stayed for a minute or so. ; Mistle Thrush - 5+ - One singing from Alder tree outside South Yorkshire Police building. Four feeding on grassy Meadowhall overflow car park ; Magpie - 2 ; Jackdaw - 2 ; Long-tailed Tit - c6 - flock flitting amongst branches of pleached hedge along busy road outside South Yorks Police building
