Meadowhall station: FIRECREST - 1 - feeding in solitary pine near footbridge c14:05-14:15 then flew NW into scrub across platform.

Middleton Moor: Common Gull - 97 - Present at 15.15, but none roosted ; Lapwing - 171 - Roosting ; Starling - 50000+ - Roosting: reasonable murmuration ; Sparrowhawk - 1 - Female hunting at starling roost ; Sparrowhawk - 1 - Female hunting at starling roost
Porter Clough: Marsh Tit - 1 - Watched for several minutes on the ground and in beeches c.200m below road at top of clough. No wing panel, no buff on flanks and greyish rear cheek. My first in this area and a real surprise.
