Redmires Top Res: Stonechat - 1 - Male 300 yards towards Stanage Pole ; Mandarin - 1 - Male sat out in the open and then flew off W at 17:20 ; Moorhen - 1 - In willows by end of road ; Tufted Duck - 5

Soughley Lane, Redmires: Kestrel - 1 - Hovering over junction with Redmires Road where it stayed while we drove under it with it only about 2m above our car!

Woodhouse: FIRECREST - 01-Feb - Lambcroft allotments, at least one reported, possibly two from footpath on Lambcroft Lane.

Bolsterstone/ Heads Lane: Curlew - 18 - feeding in pasture on l/h side of lane ; Lapwing - 11 - flying and feeding in fields at R/H side of lane towards Stonemoor ; Woodpigeon - 50/60 - feeding with curlews ; Skylark - 2 - One singing from wall other singing in flight ; Kestrel - 1 - Hovering hunting over mooland at end of Lane ; Goldfinch - 1 ; Robin - 1 ; Chaffinch - 2 ; Great Tit - 3 ; Blue Tit - 3 ; Carrion Crow - 7 - in field with sheep ; Jackdaw - 15+ - 15-20 around church and village
