• Firsby Res: Grey Heron - 1 ; Pied Wagtail - 1 ; 319 - 1 ; Swallow - 3 - Low over main Res. ; House Martin - 2 - Hunting alongside Swallows over main Res. ; Red-legged Partridge - 2 ; Pheasant - 9 - Female with 8 chicks. ; Chaffinch - 1 - Singing Male. ; Goldfinch - 4 ; Linnet - 6 ; Whitethroat - 3 ; Skylark - 5+ ; Little Owl - 1 ; Yellowhammer - 2 - Singing Males.
• Hillsborough Park: Swift - 7
• Howden Res: Common Sandpiper - 16+ - 7 single adults around the reservoir,plus 3 pairs observed with at least 1 chick each,1 of the pairs had a fledged chick,the other 2 pairs had chicks that could not fly yet. ; Redstart - 3 - A male was observed feeding 2 fledged young in woodland along the banks of the res,giving some superb views.
• Loxley Valley: Dipper - 2 - adult feeding recently-fledged juvenile near former site of Wisewood Forge ; Grey Wagtail - 2 - female carrying food to nest, with male nearby
• Mayfield Valley: Kestrel - 2 - Together W of top of Clough Lane ; Peregrine - 3 - Together over David Lane, much calling and interaction. One adult female and 2 apparent imms. St George’s birds?
• Old Ravenfield: Kestrel - 1 - Hovering at entrance to village. ; Lapwing - 1 - Flew over road near Ravenfield school.
• Orgreave Lakes: Reed Bunting - 2 - Pair carrying food to nest in reeds ; Redshank - 3 - 3 on smaller lake
• Parkgate; *Banana* plantation: Whitethroat - 1 - singing ; Chiffchaff - 1 ; Mistle Thrush - 1

• Ravenfield Church: 319 - 1 - Mobbed by crows. ; Tawny Owl - 1 - Juv in wood mobbed by Blackbirds can now fly. ; Song Thrush - 1 ; Blackbird - 4 - Adult feeding nearly fully grown chicks in nest.
• Ringinglow: Stonechat - 1 - Agitated male on moors opposite Lady Canning’s plantation - presumed nest nearby
• Rocher Head Farm: Reed Bunting - 1 - male singing on fence post near Sick Brook
• Roundwood Golf course: Chiffchaff - 1 - singing ; Pied Wagtail - 4 ; Willow Warbler - 1 - singing ; Blackcap - 1 - singing ; Song Thrush - 1 - singing
• Slippery Stones: Tree Pipit - 1 - 1 singing male 300 metres before you reach slippery stones from the south,singing and displaying from hillside Silver Birch.
• Snake Pass: Treecreeper - 4+ - Family Party, adulsts feeding fledged young in conifer plantation ; Grey Wagtail - 2 - pair taking food to nest on River Ashop ; Common Sandpiper - 1 ; Mallard - 7 - fem with 6 young ; Robin - 8+ - 2 broods recently fledged young plus one nest still active with chicks being fed ; Meadow Pipit - 6+ - 2 broods recently fledged young ; Grey Heron - 1 - River Ashop ; Mistle Thrush - 8+ - 3 + active territories, 1 x fledged youn g being fed plus 1 x food being taken into nest ; Song Thrush - 7+ - 6 singing males still, fledged juvs also present in area. ; House Martin - 7 ; Goldcrest - 15+ - numerous recently fledged broods ; Wren - 15+ - numerous recently fledged broods ; Grasshopper Warbler - 1 - Sang briefly ; Rook - 50+ ; Carrion Crow - 50+ ; 319 - 1 ; Willow Warbler - 6 + - singing males ; Chiffchaff - 1 ; Blackcap - 4 - Singing males
