Langsett Res: Common Scoter - 1 - Drake, still near dam wall at 8.30am ; Oystercatcher - 11 - Adult pair and 2 juvs on overflow section plus another 7 adults. ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - 108+ - Birds arriving steadily all morning from the east.

Midhope Res: Lesser Black-backed Gull - 15 - Small groups moving west 7-8am ; Swift - 3 ; Common Sandpiper - 2 ; Goldfinch - 6 ; Blackcap - 1 - singing ; Oystercatcher - 3 ; Tufted Duck - 15 - 3 broods with females watching 5/2/3 ducklings. ; Little Grebe - 9 - Adults with 2-3 broods involving 5 juvs. ; Swallow - 5 ; 320 - 4 ; Moorhen - 2 - Adult + juv ; Yellowhammer - 1 - singing ; 319 - 3 ; Song Thrush - 2 singing ; Chiffchaff - 2 singing ; Crossbill - 1 ; Greylag Goose - 93 ; Grey Wagtail - 1 ; Siskin - 1 ; Curlew - 1 heard ; Sand Martin - 1+
