Manor Fields Park: Kingfisher - 1 - briefly at top pond at 05:40 then flew to back of reedbed. ; Mallard - 2 ; Moorhen - 7 - 2 ad 2 chick 3 well grown juvs on pond

Aldwarke; Liberty Steel: Peregrine - 1 - adult female preening/resting on chimney for 30-40mins ; Common Buzzard - 1 - sat on floodlight

Load Brook: Swallow - c40 - mostly juveniles, gathered on overhead cables along Beeton Green lane.

Millhouses: Swift - 10 - Screaming party of 10 over houses. Likewise on several occasions in previous days. Maybe a better breeding season than in recent years ; Mandarin - 2 - Female and tiny juv. A different brood to last week’s.
