Old Ravenfield: Golden Plover - 100+ - Flock over fields next to Arbour Lane towards Ravenfield, circled numerous times before being lost from view. ; Great Black-backed Gull - 1 - Adult over accompanied by HG noticeable size difference. ; Herring Gull - 1 - With GBB Gull. ; Pied Wagtail - 1 - On house roof St James View. ; Greenfinch - 2+ - Seen regularly in village. ; Meadow Pipit - 1 - Over farmland next to Church. ; Linnet - 1 ; Skylark - 6 - Singing and chasing over farmland.

Parkgate; *Banana* plantation: Song Thrush - 1 - singing ; Reed Bunting - 1 - calling ; Goldfinch - c25 - flock, over ; Chaffinch - 10 - inc 1-2 singing ; Magpie - 8 - engaged in territorial/display behaviour ; Sparrowhawk - 1 - male in treetop; left W, then circling over Parkgate flushing pigeons

Redmires Middle Res: Curlew - 83 - roosted ; Oystercatcher - 2 ; Lapwing - 80+ ; 320 - 10 ; Curlew - 86+ - 86 flew in to roost with up to a dozen already on the shoreline ; Lapwing - 100 + - 65 flew in from feeding on Hammond's Field, 25 flew in from Soughley Lane dir'n. 12+ others already present on shoreline

Silver Wood: Grey Partridge - 2 - in coarse grassland behind Silverwood Test Centre

Spout House Hill: Yellowhammer - 2 - pair in hawthorn . ; Red-legged Partridge - 1 - calling from top of stone wall.

Dore: Siskin - 2 - first in observer’s garden this year - usually appear in late Feb/early March

Kimberworth: Siskin - 2 - Male and female in garden - female briefly on bird bath.
