  • Firsby Res: Moorhen - 1 ; Mallard - 6 - 3 pairs. ; Grey Heron - 1 ; Herring Gull - 1 - Over. ; Herring Gull - 1 - Over. ; Coal Tit - 2 - Lots of calling along path. ; Long-tailed Tit - 5+ ; Treecreeper - 1 - Calling. ; Siskin - 1 - Over. ; Kestrel - 1 - Female

  • Blacka Moor: Magpie - 2 ; Skylark - 6 - feeding together on ground ; Fieldfare - 2 ; Kestrel - 1 - f
  • Blackburn Meadows NR: Tawny Owl - 1 - Singing from trees on the canal bank at 20.10
  • Bramley: Marsh Harrier - 1 - Juv/Female low over at approx 13:00.
  • Crosspool-garden: Sparrowhawk - 1
  • Firsby Res: Moorhen - 1 ; Mallard - 1 - Male main Res early morning. ; Grey Heron - 1 ; 319 - 1 ; Kestrel - 1 - Perched in trees near road. ; Song Thrush - 2 - Both singing. ; Siskin - 8+ - Small flock over calling.
  • Hassop: 319 - 7 - at least, with some interaction ; Raven - 4 - 2 plus 2
  • Heeley Millenium Park: Song Thrush - 1
  • Hillsborough: Red Kite - 1 - flying W at 12:30, being mobbed.
  • Kimberworth Park: Magpie - 10 - on Grey Hill
