Crosspool: Woodcock - 1 - Bizarre flyover along Manchester Rd in direction of Peaks/Redmires, shortly after the Waxwings had departed for the afternoon ; Waxwing - 100+ - Several groups along Manchester Road, occasionally all coming together. One group were actively eating Leyland Cypress cones - the first time I've ever seen that! ; Waxwing - 100+ - Another photo of biggest group ; Waxwing - 205 - Two pre-roost gatherings of 160+ and 45 birds at 15:00.
