  • Stone Moor: Curlew - 20 - flock of 20 flew in from south and landed in field near Allen Croft ; Curlew - 2 - feeding in field near Allen Croft Brook ; Lapwing - 12 - in field south of "The Cross" ; Curlew - 28 - in fields south of "The Cross" ; Lapwing - 19 - in field off Lee House Lane ; Lapwing - 2+ - in field behind "The Cross" ; Lapwing - 45 - in field opposite junction of Coal Pit Lane and Stone Moor Road
  • Whitwell Moor: Red Grouse - 2 - near eastern edge of moorland
