Rocher Top: Green Woodpecker - 1 - in trees below rocks ; Raven - 1 - circling over rocks near old farm ; Kestrel - 1 - hunting in strong breeze over rough grass

Hurlfield: Pink-footed Goose - 70+ - 70-80 flew N/W at 19:25 calling.

Kiveton Community Woodland: Pink-footed Goose - 31 - 31 overhead at 07:45 heading west

Middleton Moor: Marsh Harrier - 1 - a juv this evening ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - 1150 - in roost ; Black-headed Gull - 70 ; Yellow-legged Gull - 2 ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - 1150 - c. roosted ; Yellow-legged Gull - 2 - roosted ; Black-headed Gull - 70 - c.roosted ; Marsh Harrier - 1 - juv provided superb views hunting over reedbed - dropped into roost at 18:40 hrs ; Jackdaw - 200 - c. roosted in copse by road ; Pied Wagtail - 100 - c. roosted - probably an under-estimate ; Linnet - 50 - c. post-breeding flock
