  • Greystones garden: 324 - 3 - 3 foxes in observer's garden, 2 coupled for more than 30 minutes!!!!!!
  • Hathersage: Bullfinch - 1m ; Long-tailed Tit - 8 ; Kestrel - 1
  • Ibbotson*s Dam: Kingfisher - 1 - Female ; Dipper - 1 - Just below dam ; Goldcrest - 1 - Just below dam
  • Kimberworth: Goldcrest - 2 - Pair in the trees at the bottom of the garden very briefly.
  • Longshaw Pond: Mallard - 26 ; Mandarin - 10 - 6m, 4f ; Tufted Duck - 2 - pr
  • Malin Bridge: Chiffchaff - 1 - in and out of garden in Norris Road catching insects on the ivy hedge this afternoon
  • Meersbrook Park: Nuthatch - 1 ; Grey Wagtail - 2 ; Great Spotted Woodpecker - 1 - Also drumming heard later
  • Millhouses Lane garden: Brambling - 1 - male, eyeing feeders but put off visiting by “resident??? Bullfinches and Goldfinches; departed after a couple of minutes
  • Norton Lees: Ring-necked Parakeet - 1 - Heard calling as flew over
  • Orgreave Lakes: Lesser Redpoll - 9 - between bridges ; Long-tailed Tit - 11 - between bridges. ; Goldeneye - 2 - pair. ; Goosander - 4 - 3 m 1 redhead ; Kingfisher - 1 - perched,fishing,below bridge.
  • Oughtibridge garden: Brambling - 5 ; Siskin - 3 ; Lesser Redpoll - 2

  • Cavendish Mill: Starling - 1000 - c. feeding flock in fields mid-morning
