• Grange Park Golf Course: 319 - 1 ; Moorhen - 1+ - Adult trying to distract Stoat ; Pheasant - 3+ - Adult female flushed from rough with at least 2 juvs ; Stock Dove - 1 - singing ; Woodpigeon - 1+ ; Swift - 1 ; Swallow - 3+ ; Wren - 6+ ; Dunnock - 1+ ; Robin - 3+ - sing ; Blackbird - 5+ ; Song Thrush - 3 ; Whitethroat - 4+ ; Blackcap - 5 - singng ; Chiffchaff - 1+ ; Willow Warbler - 1 ; Goldcrest - 2 ; Long-tailed Tit - 1+ ; Blue Tit - 1+ - inc juvs ; Coal Tit - 1+ ; Great Tit - 1+ - inc juvs ; Nuthatch - 2+ ; Chaffinch - 3+ ; Goldfinch - 1+ ; Bullfinch - 1 - calls

• Hassop ponds: Red Kite - 1 - Quartering mown field before being seen off by two Buzzards. ; 319 - 2 ; Kestrel - 1 ; Coot - 6 - Three generations.
• Longshaw: Nuthatch - 4 - Family group at Wooden Pole car park
• Parkgate; *Banana* plantation: Coal Tit - 1 - singing ; Stock Dove - 1 ; Chiffchaff - 1 - singing ; Blackcap - 3+ - 1 singing; 1pr + fledged brood of 4 ; Linnet - 4 - feeding on ground ; Greenfinch - 1 ; Bullfinch - 1pr
• R Don, Aldwarke: Cormorant - 2 - one flew upriver; one fishing below weir ; Chiffchaff - 2 - singing ; Blackcap - 4+ - 2 singing; 1pr + juvs ; Whitethroat - 1 - singing ; Greenfinch - 1 - singing ; Kingfisher - 01-Feb - visiting nest site ; Bullfinch - 1
• Redmires Bottom Res: Marsh Harrier - 1 - Cream-crown quartering fields to south. ; Ringed Plover - 2 ; Grey Wagtail - 1 ; Common Sandpiper - 2 ; Kestrel - 1 ; 319 - 1 - In an altercation with the Marsh Harrier.
• Redmires conduit: Snipe - 1
• Redmires Middle Res: Lapwing - 3 ; Curlew - 1
• Redmires Res: Greylag Goose - 6 - 2 ads & 4 fledged young on Top Res ; Canada Goose - 7 - 2 ads & 5 young ; Oystercatcher - 3 - 2 ads + 1 fledged young on Bottom Res dam wall ; Common Sandpiper - 12 - pair with 2 young on Bottom Res, pair with at least one young on Middle Res and 2 pairs on Top Res, with at least one young seen ; Common Buzzard - 1 ; Kestrel - 2 ; Swift - 6 - overhead ; Whitethroat - 2 - singing ; Lesser Redpoll - 1 - single bird flew out of plantation along Top Res and into Fairthorn Clough to feed ; Spotted Flycatcher - 2 - pair by Top Res - some interaction noted ; Grasshopper Warbler - 1 - reeling early morning ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - 28 - on Top Res ; Herring Gull - 6 - unprecedented no's still around and presumably relate to increased presence in city centre?
• Ringinglow: Short-eared Owl - 1 - Record shot from about 1/2 mile away.
• Rivelin Dams: Great Crested Grebe - 2 - ads on Top Res which were even seen displaying. Unusual here ; Cormorant - 1 - ad ; Canada Goose - 7 - 2 ads with 5 young on embankment ; Grey Heron - 2 - ad and almost fledged juv sat in larch ; Lesser Redpoll - 1 - song-flighting by Top Res ; Common Sandpiper - 4 - 2 pairs with at least one with young - alarming loudly by overflow to presence of a Magpie ; House Martin - 2 - pair nesting on building by road entrance ; Grey Wagtail - 5 - pair and 3 young on overflow ; Woodcock - 1 - flushed from path by Bottom Res up to Wyming Brook ; Blackcap - 2 - singing
• Rivelin Valley: Tawny Owl - 1 - downy juvenile in disused allotments west of Hagg Hill
• Rud Hill: Lapwing - one - one almost adult in fields adjacent Rud Hill
• Silverwood Lagoon: Cormorant - 1 - south ; Grey Heron - 1 - east ; Reed Warbler - 3 - singing ; Lesser Whitethroat - 1 - singing ; Chiffchaff - 2 - singing ; Whitethroat - 3 - singing ; Blackcap - 3 - singing ; Reed Bunting - 4 - singing ; Song Thrush - 2 - singing ; Yellowhammer - 1 - singing ; Greenfinch - 2 ; Mistle Thrush - 1 ; Jay - 4 ; Carrion Crow - 8 - two family parties
