City Centre: Greenfinch - 1+ - occupied nest or family with young fledglings audible in bushes on The Moor by Moorfoot council offices

Crookes Valley Park: Mallard - 12+ - including females with 6 and 3 fresh chicks, and another with 2 half-grown chicks. Pair of adult Herring Gulls circling chicks. ; Herring Gull - 2 - adult pair circling fresh Mallard chicks

Curbar Gap: Barn Owl - 1 - successfully hunting the fields below Curbar Gap at 2pm before flying back towards the village.
