  • Ughill Farm: 319 - 1 - gliding/hunting over pastures ; Kestrel - 3 - hover hunting over farm and Oakes Piece area ; Red Kite - 1 - gliding low over pastures, hunting ; Starling - c50 - flock, feeding in pastures and moving around the area, sometimes with a few Fieldfares ; Fieldfare - 60+ - generally moving from tree tops in Wet Shaw Dike area westwards and sometimes landing to feed in pastures ; Redwing - c30 - feeding on berries, notably Holly berries, sometimes with Fieldfares and once flushed by Buzzard flying among trees ; Golden Plover - 2 - On Furnace Hill, flushed up from field,calling and then flying over apparently wanting to land again ; Magpie - 04-Jun ; Black-headed Gull - 20+ - flew over Wet Shaw Dike area to land on Crawshaw Farm ; Linnet - 1 - male flew out of trees in Wet Shaw ; Great Tit - 1
