Lodge Moor: Common Gull - 1 - adult on fields at Spider Park - unusual here and generally seem very scarce this autumn

Middleton Moor: Lesser Black-backed Gull - 1400 ; Herring Gull - 4 ; Black-headed Gull - 60 ; Yellow-legged Gull - 3 ; Wigeon - 5 ; Starling - 700 ; Pied Wagtail - 38 - Feeding on shoreline and then roosting in reeds ; Goosander - 4 - Male and three redheads dropped in at 16.40

Silver Wood: Fieldfare - 2 - in hawthorns behind Silverwood Test Centre. First of autumn here. ; Yellowhammer - 6 - in stubble field just beyond northern edge of woods

Silverwood Lagoon: Cormorant - 1 ; Pochard - 2 ; Tufted Duck - 5 ; Gadwall - 3 ; Common Gull - 1 ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - 1 ; Black-headed Gull - 30 ; Water Rail - 1 - calling in reeds beyond southern end of lagoon. Still surprisingly scarce here despite seemingly ideal habitat. ; Kestrel - 1 ; Common Buzzard - 1 ; Jay - 4 ; Blackbird - 20+ - small influx ; Skylark - c.10 - in stubble fields to west
