• Hangingwater allotments: Moorhen - 1 - foraging in plots near the Porter ; Bullfinch - 2 - pair eating buds

• Mayfield Valley: LONG-TAILED SKUA - 0 - No sign of the adult today in it's usual fields.
• Meersbrook Park: Woodpigeon - 20+ - Flew out of trees at bottom of Park

• Neepsend: Common Buzzard - 1 - circling
• Norfolk Heritage Park: Grey Wagtail - 2 - Two birds staying close together on the stream in Jervis Lum.
• Norton Lees Garden: Chaffinch - 1 - male - usually only seen briefly in bad weather
• Onesacre: Barn Owl - 1 - hunting
• Orgreave Lakes: Avocet - 1 - at 08:15, still present on small lake at 09:15 ; BLACK-NECKED GREBE - 2 - at 09:00 ; Sand Martin - 5+ - 'several' ; BLACK-NECKED GREBE - 2 - On Big Lake at 09.00 ; Avocet - 1 - On Big Lake from 08.10
• Oughtibridge: Long-tailed Tit - 2 - pair, one carrying nesting material into brambles
• Peat Pits: Golden Plover - 300+ - Disturbed and harassed by peregrine ; Lapwing - 60+ - Disturbed and harassed by Peregrine ; Peregrine - 1 - Failed stoop at waders before flying off North ; Curlew - 4 ; Skylark - 2 ; Little Owl - 1 - On ground by roadside dry stone wall, then hopped halfway up wall away from the wind ; Golden Plover - 700+ ; Meadow Pipit - c40 - heading west.
