  • Barlow Common: Chiffchaff - 1 - showing well in garden and singing briefly ; Skylark - 1 ; Kestrel - 1
  • Bingham Park: Goldcrest - 1 ; Mistle Thrush - 1 - Singing ; Grey Wagtail - 1 ; Grey Wagtail - 1 - m ; 321 - 1 - staring intently into pond-side undergrowth (frogs?)
  • Blackburn Meadows: Lapwing - 3 - 3 lapwing mobbing a buzzard between Tinsley flyover and treatment plant.
  • Brightholmlee: Barn Owl - 1
  • Cutthroat Bridge: Ring Ouzel - 2 ; Mistle Thrush - 2 - One on ground one on pylons. Alarm call made on Ring Ouzel moving through.
  • Firsby Res: Mute Swan - 2 - Pair
