Upper Common, Scholes: 319 - 3 - Low over Shepherd's Plantation then drifted over to Scholes Coppice @ 11:50. ; Kestrel - 1 - hunting, causing Linnets c 100 to scatter from stubble and ploughed areas.

Howden Res: Osprey - 1 - came over res at 1915 from east then spent 20 minutes looking around res before heading NW gaining height as it left. ; Mandarin - 3 - Two Males one Female landing on res at dam end

Scholes Pond & Surrounds: 319 - 1 - soaring N of pond near Red House Farm @ 11:10. ; Wren - 1 - singing ; Robin - 1 - singing ; Blackbird - 2 ; Song Thrush - 1 - singing ; Fieldfare - c30 - in and out of surrounding trees ; Blackcap - 1 - singing ; Chiffchaff - 1 - singing ; Chaffinch - 1 - singing ; Linnet - 20+ ; Skylark - 1 - singing ; Pied Wagtail - 1 - fields S of Little Lane.
