• Aldwarke: Peregrine - 1 - adult sat on pylon ; Mute Swan - 16 - 4 SW @b 0718hrs; 7 high to N @ 0730hrs; 5 SW @ 0743hrs
• Bramley: Red-legged Partridge - 1 - Feeding on small grass verge on Flanderwell Avenue. An uncommon urban sighting.
• Brightholmlee: Barn Owl - 1 ; Tawny Owl - 1
• Brincliffe Edge Wood: Lesser Redpoll - 4 - Feeding in birch trees ; Dunnock - 1+ ; Song Thrush - 2 - Singing since early Feb but getting more vigorous now
• Brooks Bank farm, nr Midhope Res: Curlew - c27 - in field with new wader scrapes ; Snipe - c8 - feeding by wader scrapes ; Lapwing - c16 - c4 in field others in feeding/flying flock ; Starling - c15 - two flying with lapwing flock the others in a starling flock ; Mistle Thrush - 4 - feeding in pasture ; Carrion Crow - 3 - perched in tree ; Kestrel - 1 - flew over ; Greylag Goose - 2 - Feeding alongside Curlews
