Orgreave Lakes: Shelduck - 7 - flew N at 0742 then 5 S at 0845 (probably same). ; Hobby - 1 - hunting hirundines over main lake 17:45 ; Dunlin - 1 ; Yellow Wagtail - 1 - male ; Great Crested Grebe - 24 ; Redshank - 1 ; Ringed Plover - 1 ; Oystercatcher - 1 - chasing off Carrion Crow.

Sheffield Centre; South Street Park: Kestrel - 1 - Female perched on street light for several minutes

Silverwood Lagoon: Reed Warbler - 6 - singing ; Sedge Warbler - 2 - singing

Spout House Hill: Cuckoo - 1

Totley Moss: Red Kite - 1 - Over late morning

White Lee Moor: Raven - 2

Wyming Brook: Long-tailed Tit - 1 ; Wood Warbler - 1 - Not singing ; Treecreeper - 1 ; Wren - 1

Aldwarke; Liberty Steel: Raven - 4 - one in from S/SW @ 0650hrs joined by 3 more on roof, at least 2 of these 'begging' so presumably juvs. All 4 fed on rooftop & 'buzzed' by PE ; Peregrine - 1 - adult male flew in & settled on water tower @ 0741hrs, 'buzzing' RN family on way.
