  • Brightholmlee: Barn Owl - 1 ; Whitethroat - 2 - pair in brambles ; Curlew - 1
  • Broomhead Res: Crossbill - 1 - calling in plantation to the south of res ; Great Crested Grebe - 1 ; Common Buzzard - 1
  • Canyards: Stonechat - 5+ - 2 pairs and another male ; Cuckoo - 1
  • Carr Vale NR: 332 - 1 - outside our recording area, and showing no inclination to venture north of the 'mound' this afternoon. Bird has a badly broken/dislocated leg but is feeding well.
