Fulwood: Blackcap - 1 - Female in garden ; Brambling - 1 - Male in garden

Green Moor: Tawny Owl - 2 - Calling in the early hours

Norfolk Bridge: Iceland Gull - 1 - 2nd winter still present on factory roof tops ; Iceland Gull - 1 - in flight along the river at 14:00, and feeding on the glass piles opposite Foley St at 18:00.

Orgreave Lakes: BLACK-NECKED GREBE - 1 - still present this morning ; Wheatear - 3+ - at least 3 Greenland Wheatears

R Don, Stevenson Rd: Sand Martin - 50+ - much activity, with birds collecting nest lining material at the river edge and taking to at least 8 nest holes in gaps in masonry and drainage pipies mainly in high wall on S side of river, but also a few on the N side.
