• Barbrook: Curlew - 1 - Repeatedly mobbing two crows in a tree until they moved on.
• Blackburn Meadows NR: Green Sandpiper - 1 - On Ferham Lake ; Kingfisher - 1 ; Gadwall - 4 ; Whitethroat - 1 - Singing male ; Green Sandpiper - 2 - early evening, one left WSW ; Lapwing - 2 - dropped into Ferham Lake briefly before leaving NE ; Reed Warbler - 3+ - 2 singing plus at least one calling Ferham Lake, possibly another singing Wader Scrape ; Bullfinch - 6+ - including 2 singing and 5 together at one point ; Common Buzzard - 1 ; Sparrowhawk - 1 ; Snipe - 4 - Ferham Lake ; Little Grebe - 2 - pair, one with nesting material

• Burbage Valley: Ring Ouzel - 1 - male ; Stonechat - 3 ; Redstart - 1 - singing in Plantation
• Canklow Woods: Fieldfare - 1 - east at 0815

• Redmires Top Res: Common Sandpiper - 1 - In corner of top reservoir near end of conduit at 09:30
• River Don: Sand Martin - 30+ - Between Stevenson Road and New Hall Road
• Rocher Wood: Redstart - 1 - Male ; Tree Pipit - 1
• Salter Hills: Redstart - 1 - singing in stand of larch trees near track to Salt Springs Farm
• Stone Moor: Lapwing - 6 - pair with 4 recently-hatched chicks in field near lay-by on Stone Moor Road
• Templeborough/Ickles: Iceland Gull - 1 - 2nd winter high c.NE with other large gulls at 19.54 (viewed from Blackburn Meadows)
• Thrybergh CP: Grey Heron - 2 - past s ; Mute Swan - 28
