Barbrook Plantation: Cuckoo - 1 - Male singing from tree. Seen off by female Chaffinch. ; Spotted Flycatcher - 2 ; Goldcrest - 1 - Singing male.

Barbrook Valley: Whinchat - 2 ; Stonechat - 1 ; 319 - 1 - With prey item in talons. Mobbed first by a Curlew, then by a Lapwing. ; Lapwing - 6 ; Curlew - 5 ; Reed Bunting - 4 - males ; Meadow Pipit - 20+ - Situation vacant for a pair of Merlins!
