Past Kings tree and ford, in larch on East side of footpath ; Crossbill - 10 - A small flock with several males evident in area opposite Windy Corner. ; Goldcrest - 2

Canklow: Kestrel - 1 - Hunting in AMG lower car park 12.15

Centenary Riverside: Little Grebe - 1 - River. ; Mallard - 7 - 4 Drakes, 3 Females.River. ; Kingfisher - 1 - River.12.45 ; Long-tailed Tit - 10+ - Flock including 4 Blue tits and 1 Great Tit.

Chatsworth Park: Redwing - 100 ; Canada Goose - 80 ; Pink-footed Goose - 1 - Feeding with Canada’s in front of House ; Goosander - 5 - Redheads ; Cormorant - 2 - Flying south

Derwent Res: Goshawk - 1 - soaring and then interacting with Buzzard ; Treecreeper - 3 - in conifers alongside W side of res ; Sparrowhawk - 1 - soaring

Fairholmes: Sparrowhawk - 1 - soaring and scattering Siskins ; Siskin - 60 - scattered by Sprawk

Holmebrook Valley Park: Kingfisher - 1 - Fishing around lake. ; Tufted Duck - 1 - Female on lake ; Grey Heron - 1 - Flew over

Howden Res: PARROT CROSSBILL - 4 - 3 adult males and a female with small party of Common Crossbill opposite Windy Corner on W side of Howden Res ; PARROT CROSSBILL - 4 - another photo ; Crossbill - 6+ - very elusive; flock seen only 13:40-14:05 ; Raven - 3 ; Kestrel - 3 ; 319 - 1 ; Treecreeper - 5 - in conifers alongside W side of res ; Crossbill - 6+ - photo (bill comparison with Parrot)

Norwood Allotments: Pink-footed Goose - c220 - over west around 10:15

Orgreave Lakes: Raven - 1 - First over 'plains' at 08:33 landed on 'Big Hill's and chased off by Carrion Crows. Then over again at 09:00 and landed on 'plains' before heading east. ; Yellow-legged Gull - 1 - Adult in pre-roost ; Goosander - 56 - at dusk ; Reed Bunting - 28 - On tip ; Willow Tit - 2 - 300 yds upstream of footbridge.

Redmires Middle Res: Golden Plover - 189 - roosting on S shore ; Lapwing - 113 - roosting on N shore ; Black-headed Gull - 21 - left NE before dusk; zero roosted ; Greylag Goose - 48 - circling noisily late afternoon with a Pink-foot; my best count here ; Pink-footed Goose - 1 - still present, circling with Greylag flock late afternoon
