Hillsborough Park: Mute Swan - 2 ; Tufted Duck - 3 ; Black-headed Gull - 200+

Holmebrook Valley Park: Greylag Goose - 1 - Still on lake ; Tufted Duck - 2 - Male and female on lake ; Kingfisher - 1 - Showing pretty well on lake ; Cormorant - 3 - On raft in lake

Mount Pleasant (Sharrow): Redwing - 45 ; Starling - c.14 ; Fieldfare - 1

R Don, Rotherham Centre; adjacent interchange: Grey Wagtail - 2 - both presumed males; lots of chasing, excited calling/brief song @ 1610hrs

St. George*s Church: Peregrine - 1 - adult (male?) and over Netherthorpe

Weston Park: Nuthatch - 2 ; Redwing - 1+ - heard ; Song Thrush - 1 ; Blackbird - 5+ ; Mistle Thrush - 2 ; Wigeon - 1 - female still present

Agden Res: Curlew - 39 - single flock in fields

Attercliffe: Pink-footed Goose - at least 60

Bramley: Blackbird - 1 - Calling at 07:15 ; Robin - 1 - Calling before first light ; Collared Dove - 1 ; Black-headed Gull - 3 ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - 1 - Adult over houses on Flanderwell Avenue. ; Starling - 6 - On chimney pot. ; Sparrowhawk - 1 - Large Female in tree at side of road on Lidgett Lane. ; Goldfinch - 2 - Coming to garden feeders.

Hangingwater garden: Mistle Thrush - 1 - sustained song ; Dunnock - 2 - displaying ; Collared Dove - 2 - regulars now at bird table ; Bullfinch - 2 - m briefly at feeders ; Nuthatch - 1 ; Chaffinch - 4 - 1m & 3f

Hillsborough Park: Mute Swan - 2 - 1st w. ; Greylag Goose - 1 - plus the largely white bird ; 324 - 1 - Canada x Barnacle Goose still apparently paired with the Greylag ; Long-tailed Tit - 9 - flock ; Jackdaw - 170+ - flock SE at dusk
