  • Howden Res: PARROT CROSSBILL - 4+ - at least 4 Parrot Crossbills among a flock of 32 Crossbills approximately 1km beyond King's Tree, between 10 and 10:35 ; PARROT CROSSBILL - 1 - Singing female from this morning.

  • R Don, Stevenson Rd: CASPIAN GULL - 1 - 1st W again on waste ground on Stevenson Road, Attercliffe
  • Rotherham Centre: Pink-footed Goose - c 80 - c 80 west over railway station at 1205
  • Rotherham; Herringthorpe: Pink-footed Goose - 50-60 - W @ 1200hrs
  • Thrybergh CP: White-fronted Goose - 1 - still at Thrybergh in fields with Greylags on E side, but not easy to see ; Water Rail - 2

  • Crookes: Waxwing - 3 - In tree behind flats on Coombes Close, then feeding on rose hips.
  • Curbar: Dipper - 3 ; Mandarin - 2 ; Goosander - 1 - male ; Treecreeper - 1 ; Nuthatch - 3 ; Great Spotted Woodpecker - 1 ; Siskin - 2 ; Long-tailed Tit - 6 ; Goldcrest - 2 ; Coal Tit - 1
