  • Sheffield University: Peregrine - 1+ - fourth egg laid this afternoon ; Pied Wagtail - 1 - flycatching around St George's ; Peregrine - 3 - male on nest, female on Arts Tower mobbed by an imm male (no orange plastic ring visible). Further discussion on PG blog.

  • Chatsworth Park: Oystercatcher - 2 ; Mandarin - 7 ; Little Grebe - 1
  • Ecclesall: Waxwing - 3 - in trees by Ecclesall Junior School - flew off N
  • Fulwood garden: Reed Bunting - 1 - Male around feeders - unusual visitor ; Lesser Redpoll - 1 - Male at feeders ; Siskin - 2 - M and F at feeders
  • Hutcliffe Wood Beauchief: Common Buzzard - 04-Jun - Over Hutcliffe Wood , Dalewood and Beauchief Abbey. Height varied from below treetop to soaring.
