• Dalton: Black-headed Gull - 17 - feeding on sports pitches ; Song Thrush - 2 - inc one singing ; Bullfinch - 1 ; Rook - 12 - on pylons; probably 8+ active nests
• Dog Kennel Pond: 319 - 1 ; Greylag Goose - 10+ ; Mallard - 1+ ; Tufted Duck - 14 ; Coot - 3 ; Moorhen - 3 ; Great Crested Grebe - 1
• Dore garden: Moorhen - 1 - Around garden pond - new garden bird!
• Ewden Valley: Willow Tit - 1 - on Dwarriden Lane.
• Fatty Boyns Ponds: Song Thrush - 1 - singing ; Redwing - 3 - over to SW ; Skylark - 4 - over adjacent fields inc at least 2 singing ; Goldcrest - 1 - singing ; Moorhen - 2 ; Pheasant - 1 - crowing ; Willow Tit - 1 - singing ; Woodpigeon - c100 - taking refuge from shooting on adjacent fields ; Peregrine - 1 - adult male soaring over @ 0655hrs; settled on pylon briefly before leaving towards Liberty Steel
• Firsby Res: Lapwing - 2 - On farm land. ; Stock Dove - 1 - Over. ; Chiffchaff - 3 - All singing. ; Goldcrest - 1 - Near road. Visitors beware concrete spillway very slippy with Algea.
