Bolsterstone: Tree Sparrow - 1 - in roadside bush on Sunny Bank Road

Burbage: Ring Ouzel - 2 - reported at Mother Cap

Canklow: Song Thrush - 1 - Singing AMG works 4.00am ; Blackbird - 1 - Singing.

Canklow Woods: Common Buzzard - 2 - 2 in the air together at 1330 ; Marsh Harrier - 1 - cream crown east at 1815

Highfield: Ring-necked Parakeet - 1 - over Highfield/Bramall Lane area calling in flight at 08:00

Kiveton: Common Buzzard - 10+ - at least 10 birds together over car park at Kiveton waters 14:20. ; Red Kite - 1 - circled over Hard Lane then flew W towards and over M1. 14:09 ; Chiffchaff - 1 - near car park of Kiveton waters.

Manor Fields Park: Curlew - 1 - flew low west at 07:30. ; Linnet - 8 ; Stock Dove - 3 ; Meadow Pipit - 2 - both flew N over ; Mistle Thrush - 2

Middleton Moor: Common Gull - 22 ; 320 - 6 - 3p, one pair copulating ; Curlew - 3 - No sign of yesterdays Avocets ; Herring Gull - 1 - 3cy ; Coot - 6 ; Moorhen - 1 ; Reed Bunting - 1

Millhouses: Chiffchaff - 1 - one in the observer's garden

Orgreave Lakes: Rock Pipit - 1 - Littoralis on on east shore early morning then again on north shore. ; Wheatear - 2 ; Sand Martin - 6 - By 8am ; Little Ringed Plover - 1 ; Snipe - 3 - On island ; Shoveler - 1 - Drake ; Goldeneye - 10 ; Sandwich Tern - 3 - Circling lake at 09:55 then NW ; Rock Pipit - 1 - Still present mid-morning

Redmires conduit: Golden Plover - c90 - in horse fields. Also one sparrowhawk over. ; Golden Plover - 257 - 119 in rough field joined by another flock ; Golden Plover - 257 - another photo ; Lapwing - 22 - including display flights and territorial disputes, with 2 copulating pairs ; Lapwing - 22 - another photo ; Red Grouse - 3 - males chasing each other ; Wheatear - 1 - typically monochrome male of nominate race ; 319 - 1 - over N ; Kestrel - 1 ; Merlin - 1 ; Pheasant - 18

Crookes Valley Park: Goosander - 3 - Male and 2 redheads on lake early morning - unusual here

Dog Kennel Pond: 319 - 1 ; Great Crested Grebe - 3 ; Mute Swan - 2 ; Black-headed Gull - 10+ ; Coot - 3 ; Grey Wagtail - 1

Endcliffe Park: Dipper - 1 - Near Hunter's Bar at 7:05 ; Mandarin - 2 - m + f on Porter Brook near Hunter's Bar at 17:00 ; Nuthatch - 1

Fulwood garden: Brambling - 2 - male and female around feeders - very scarce so far this year ; Wren - 1 ; Blue Tit - 2 - pair at nest box and bathing

Graves Park: 324 - 1 - Alexandrine Parakeet. Male seen in waterfall woods, 200yds downstream of bottom lake.
