  • Wadsley Common garden: Bullfinch - 6 - 3m, 2f and juvenile on feeders.

  • Centenary Riverside: Blackcap - 5 ; Song Thrush - 2 ; Chaffinch - 1 ; Reed Bunting - 1 ; Reed Warbler - 1 ; Whitethroat - 2 ; Robin - 1 ; Great Tit - 1 ; Canada Goose - 2 - Pond ; 321 - 1 - Pond ; Jackdaw - 40-50 - Over in intermittent groups.
  • Dore: Bullfinch - 1+ - A male and recently fledged juv in observer’s garden. ; Goldfinch - 2+ - 2 adults feeding fledged juv in observer’s garden.
  • Great Shacklow Wood: Tufted Duck - 2 - a pair - on R Wye
  • Hassop: Raven - 5 - Possible family group
  • Holbrook Marsh: Cetti's Warbler - 1 - Singing
  • Jordanthorpe: Barn Owl - 1 - Hunting and perched on goalpost - football field Jordanthorpe parkway
  • Ladybower Res: Garden Warbler - 1 - singing by south side of dam wall path
  • Lawrence Field: Cuckoo - 1 - adult flying with an egg in it's mouth, chased by meadow pipits.

  • R Don, Attercliffe: Lesser Black-backed Gull - c150 - inc very elegant dark backed bird ; Herring Gull - c40 - also brief view of probable imm Iceland Gull, on roof of Tesco store. ; Yellow-legged Gull - 1 - 2s/3cy

  • Kimberworth: Blackbird - 1 - female - regular visitor to the garden seed feeder; stands on a disc attached to the underside of the feeder and pecks seed out of the ports. ; Song Thrush - 1 - Singing most of the day.
