R Don, Effingham St: Lesser Black-backed Gull - c50 - with the 2 fresh juvs on the weir tonight, one begging from an adult, good evidence of local breeding

Thrybergh Res: Swallow - c300 - Large gathering over Thrybergh Lane end of site at 20:30, pre-roost gathering? Calling and feeding over fields and water, more seemed to be flying in mostly Swallows some House Martins in flock.

Wadsley: Swift - 43 - Over Ganton Road/Rockley Road. 1 juv grounded and released. ; House Martin - 7 - 2 adults + 5 juv fledged on Carlton Road. Unusually few breeding this year.
