Millhouses: Nuthatch - 1 - Feeding on feeder with Tits & Goldfinches

Morehall Res: House Martin - 60 - Group of birds activly feeding on large hatch of Aphids below tree line below dam wall most of the afternoon.

Pike Lowe, Midhope: Marsh Harrier - 1 - Cream headed bird White Carr Moss before heading out of view NW towards Pike Lowe ; Swift - 2 - over moors along with group of Swallows which included many young birds.

R Don, Attercliffe: Yellow-legged Gull - 3 - Effingham St/Norfolk Bridge. Adult, 2cy and 1cy. Photo of 1cy. ; CASPIAN GULL - 1 - juvenile, large bird likely a male on Norfolk Bridge Weir.

High Storrs: 319 - 2 - over Greystones and Highcliffe allotments drifting west then observed again over Hangingwater.

Malin Bridge: Swift - 1 - low over

Neepsend: Sand Martin - 6+ - 3 pairs bred in stone wall approx 2 metres above river . Another pair showed interest in brickwork above fish pass but failed to produce young .

Orgreave Lakes: Sanderling - 1 - Juvenile from mid-afternoon at least. Still feeding on western shore of large lake near the northern end at 18.40 ; Yellow-legged Gull - 2 - Adult and juvenile ; Great Black-backed Gull - 1 - Juvenile ; Grey Partridge - 6 - Juvenile ; Dunlin - 2+ - 2 juveniles feeding; possibly other birds seen or heard in flight ; Swift - 8 - Arrived at dusk
