Hangingwater garden: Magpie - 3 - adult & 2 juv on feeders ; Great Spotted Woodpecker - 1 - juv coming daily now ; Jay - 4 - 1 ad & 1 juv squawking at me through window to replenish peanuts, then another 1 ad & 1 juv later

Middleton Moor: Shelduck - 8 - Pair with 6 young ; Reed Warbler - 1 - Still singing ; Yellow-legged Gull - 3 - Adults/near adults ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - 200+ ; Little Ringed Plover - 1 ; Willow Warbler - 2 - Juveniles by fence from track to hide

Rawmarsh: Peregrine - 2 - low to N/NW together calling @ 0940hrs ; Sparrowhawk - 1 - female, circled over High Street @ 0955hrs

Ecclesfield: Chiffchaff - 1 - Singing, Cross Hill ; Song Thrush - 1 - Singing

Ecclesfield.: 319 - 1 - Circling low over Wordsworth Ave/High St junction.

Fulwood garden: Crossbill - 3 - flew N calling at 10:20 ; Siskin - 1 - over calling

Low Bradfield: Kingfisher - 1 - calling on Dale Dike, upstream of Mill Lee Road.

Meersbrook Park: Chiffchaff - 1 ; Nuthatch - 1 ; Song Thrush - 1

Millhouses Lane: Swift - 4+ - overhead, the first this year

Norfolk Park: Peregrine - 1+ - one calling repeatedly while flying over with, what looked like another trying to grab the first's prey item. The first appeared to struggle to fly with the weight of whatever it had caught. Flew over towards Lowfields and out of sight. ; Dunnock - 2+ - Adult feeding recently fledged young.

Orgreave Lakes: Grey Wagtail - 3 ; Common Sandpiper - 1 ; Little Egret - 5 ; Kestrel - 4 ; Tufted Duck - 30+ - Including 18 duckling. A single group of 4 and family creche of 14. ; Tufted Duck - 30+ - second photo. ; Yellowhammer - 3
