Peat Pits: Golden Plover - 200+

Porter Brook: Long-tailed Tit - c10 ; Blue Tit - 10+ ; Marsh Tit - 1 - Feeding on Beech mast on footpath, ID'd by call. ; Nuthatch - 1 ; Jay - 1 - Either burying or finding acorn in pasture ; Robin - 5+ ; Kestrel - 1 - perched in tree ; Blackbird - 2 ; Mistle Thrush - 1 ; Dunnock - 1 ; Dipper - 1 - at Shepherd Wheel ; Rook - c20 - Near Hangingwater Road. Many vocal birds at at least 20 nests, some with pairs perched on nests.

Porter Clough: Rook - c40 - Some in treetops while others were taking scraps in a pigsty (?) alongside BH Gulls and Domesticated Pigeons at the animal sanctuary I think. ; Magpie - 1 - With the rooks ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - 3+ - with the rooks ; Pheasant - 1 ; 319 - 1 ; Long-tailed Tit - c4 ; Blue Tit - 1 ; Dunnock - 1

Rawmarsh; Rockcliffe Road: Greenfinch - 1 ; Goldfinch - 4

Redmires: Oystercatcher - 3 - in field near plantation leading to bottom reservoir. A pair then flew to middle Res, leaving one in field with Greylags

Redmires conduit: Curlew - 2 - female flying over calling, male in rough meadows

Redmires Middle Res: Curlew - 16 ; Mistle Thrush - 2

Rivelin Filters: Curlew - c35 - in fields

Rivelin Res: Black-headed Gull - c30

Rivelin Valley: Mallard - 10+ ; Dipper - 3 - 1 at Swallow Wheel, 1 near Hollybush pub, 1 near Holme Head Wheel ; Moorhen - 3+ ; Grey Wagtail - 1 - on river at Rivelin Park ; Carrion Crow - 1+ ; Song Thrush - 1 ; Nuthatch - 2 ; Goosander - 3 - at Wolf Wheel, 2 males and one female seen ; Grey Heron - 1 - at Wolf Wheel ; Great Spotted Woodpecker - 1 ; Goldfinch - 1 ; Treecreeper - 1 ; Coal Tit - 1 ; 319 - 1 ; Great Tit - 3+ ; Wren - 6+ ; Robin - 7+ ; Blue Tit - 6+ ; Woodpigeon - 7 ; Blackbird - 3 ; Stock Dove - 3 - appeared to be two males courting one female in a tree near Rivelin Park ; Long-tailed Tit - 45+ - several parties flitting about

Hangingwater garden: Blackbird - 1 - singing hesitantly

Kimberworth Park: Kestrel - 1 - hunting behind Remount Road

Ladybower Res, North arm: Jay - 1 ; Mandarin - 8 ; Long-tailed Tit - 5 ; Canada Goose - c88 - In 2 flocks ; Oystercatcher - 1 ; Mistle Thrush - 1 ; Song Thrush - 4 heard

Norton Lees garden: Goldcrest - 2 - On fatballs

Orgreave Lakes: Whooper Swan - 69 - 65 over NW, low and very vocal @ 08:29 - followed by 4 stragglers @ 08:39
