Silverwood Lagoon: Short-eared Owl - 1 - mobbed by Carrion Crows beyond southern end of lagoon at 10.25. May have been flushed from farmland around Dalton Magna by local shoot

Greystones: Blackcap - 1 - Male, in observer's garden, 1st visit this winter ; Song Thrush - 1 - OG ; Long-tailed Tit - 2 - OG

Kimberworth: Sparrowhawk - 1 - Male with a male Blackbird struck patio door. Both birds survived to fly off. Sparrowhawk perched in a tree for about 5 minutes after the incident.

Orgreave Lakes: Lapwing - 68 - flew towards Waverley ; Meadow Pipit - 2 ; Great Black-backed Gull - 154 - in pre-roost, all Gulls had left by dark (16:50), many Big Gulls leaving South. ; Herring Gull - 168 - pre roost ; Black-headed Gull - c400 - pre-roost, all left by dark, heading towards Shepcote Lane. ; Common Gull - 1 - 1cy ; Jack Snipe - 1 - Flushed by walkers ; Snipe - 2 ; Kingfisher - 1
