  • Wharncliffe Chase: Redstart - 3 - Singing, 2 in close proximity ; Wheatear - 25-30 ; Tree Pipit - 12 - Majority singing, all on southern half and some in close proximity to each other. ; Willow Warbler - c30 ; Lapwing - 2 - Pair, one seen sitting whilst other flew at crows ; Curlew - 02-Mar ; Stonechat - 3 - Pair with male carrying food plus separate male undertaking hovering song flight/display. ; Linnet - 40+ ; Skylark - 30-40 - Abundant near top plain and banking, much chasing, feeding, singing.
