Howden Res: Common Sandpiper - 4 ; Hobby - 1 - north

Kimberworth: Blackcap - 1 - Female feeding on ivy berries at the bottom of the garden.

Meersbrook Park: Chiffchaff - 1 ; Song Thrush - 2 - prob pair

Morley Pond: Tufted Duck - 40 - 26 males ; Swallow - c20

Oaken Bank: Ring Ouzel - 12 - 2 singles, 3 in one tree and 7 in an isolated tree to the west. Mostly males as far as i could see. At least 2 flew off north.

Pebley Pond: GREAT WHITE EGRET - 1 ; Little Egret - 1 - Both there till at 09:30

Pingle Lane Tip: Kestrel - 1 - Hunting. ; Yellowhammer - 2 - Pair. ; Whitethroat - 1 ; Grey Partridge - 1 ; Swift - 3

Rawmarsh: Kestrel - 2 - male over incline, then S/SW @ 1055hrs; female over later ; Common Buzzard - 4+ - up together & interacting @ 1255hrs, 2 eventually leaving E; singles seen throughout afternoon

Rawmarsh; Rockcliffe Road: Mute Swan - 1 - S @ 0605hrs ; Goldfinch - 4 ; Greenfinch - 1 - singing ; Robin - 1pr - feeding young in nest ; Chaffinch - 1 - female in garden

Redmires Res: Tufted Duck - 5 - on Middle Res ; 320 - 2 ; Common Sandpiper - 7 ; Herring Gull - 6 ; Grasshopper Warbler - 2 - reeling by Middle Res ; Moorhen - 1 - on nest by Top Res ; Willow Warbler - 36 - singing around Res perimeter ; Redstart - 1 - singing ; Raven - 1 ; Kestrel - 1

Rocher head: Meadow Pipit - 61 ; Ring Ouzel - 6 - 4 males +2 Females

RVCP: Little Ringed Plover - 1 - Photo

RVCP, Main Lake: Common Sandpiper - 1 ; Little Ringed Plover - 1 ; Little Ringed Plover - 1 ; Whooper Swan - 1 - with Mute Swans ; Hobby - 1 - first one,,,, single birds on up to 18 dates through to late aug.
