Orgreave Lakes: BLACK-NECKED GREBE - 1 ; Wheatear - 8+ ; Whitethroat - 2 - between river and railway bridges ; Garden Warbler - 2 - singing in same area as whitethroats. ; Swift - 1 - In at 0840 ; Whinchat - 2 ; Common Sandpiper - 2 ; Whooper Swan - 1 - imm (red YGZ) tonight, dropped in with 3 Mute Swans.

R Don, Attercliffe: Swallow - 2 - Stevenson Rd ; Sand Martin - 2 - mass exodus from colony sites in cold weather, presumably to lowland waters such as Orgreave. ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - 12 - mainly adults circling
