Padley Gorge: Lesser Spotted Woodpecker - 1 - calling ; Pied Flycatcher - 6+ - 5 + singing males ; Pied Flycatcher - 6+ - photo

R Don, Effingham St: Sand Martin - 12 - including several prospecting birds ; Grey Heron - 1 - below weir ; Iceland Gull - 1 - lifted off Tesco roof and circled over before heading upriver at 12:25 ; Iceland Gull - 1 - another photo ; Feral Pigeon - 40 ; Carrion Crow - 1 - repeatedly attacking Feral Pigeons feeding on bread; dropping from lamp post and pursuing in style of Sprawk. Unsuccessful every time but some very close calls.
