• Orgreave Lakes: Arctic Tern - 16 - 11 at 05:50 then flew NE; a further 5 later ; Bar-tailed Godwit - 2 - 2 partial summer (appeared to come off tip) went south. Only 2nd record here ; Sanderling - 1 ; Bar-tailed Godwit - 1 - circled large lake then left N at 13.15. Presumed partial breeding plumage male. ; Common Tern - 1 ; Arctic Tern - 1 - an additional bird late morning ; Dunlin - 3 ; Common Sandpiper - 4 ; Yellow Wagtail - 1+ ; Carrion Crow - 2+ - including presumed pair making very short work of a fresh brood of Coot chicks ; BLACK-NECKED GREBE - 1 - still present on large lake ; Pink-footed Goose - 1 ; Swift - 10+ - including up to 10 together ; Lapwing - 1+ - including leucistic bird still on island ; Shelduck - 2 - 2 in to small lake.
