Redmires Top Res: Spotted Flycatcher - 1 - at least one in top plantation ; Tufted Duck - 1 - male ; Mallard - 2+ - females with 4 and 1 small chicks respectively ; Canada Goose - 4+ - two pairs with 3 well-grown juvs each

Howden Dam: Redstart - 2+ - alarming male and at least one juv windy corner. ; Common Sandpiper - 6+ - pair with 3 chicks Kings Tree plus at least another 2 pairs. ; Tree Pipit - 4 - singing birds, 2 on W side above Kings Tree, 2 on E side. ; Whinchat - 1 - male alarming E side below Slippery Stones.

Howden Res: Spotted Flycatcher - 2+ - 2 pairs, above and below Kings Tree ; Cormorant - 2 - on towers

Old Ravenfield: Kestrel - 3 - F feeding two downy chicks in nest box. ; Tawny Owl - 1 - Fledgling in woodland early morning.

Orgreave Lakes: Little Egret - 1 - Dropped onto big lake at 06:30 ; Common Tern - 3 - on big lake early morning

Oughtibridge jawbone hill: Little Owl - 1 - calling from telegraph pole at dusk . ; Kestrel - 1 - male hunting at dusk.
