Holmebrook Valley Park: Egyptian Goose - 9 - On main lake. Two adults and 7 young. They were not there yesterday.

Kiveton: Collared Dove - 23 - coming in garden for bird seed

R Don, Rotherham Centre: Grey Wagtail - breeding confirmed - family party ; Chiffchaff - 1 - calling ; Sand Martin - 02-Mar - no further activity noted around colony

Redmires Middle Res: Common Scoter - 1 - female ; Yellow-legged Gull - 1 - adult. Left E at 21.50 ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - 9 - left E at 21.50 ; Black-headed Gull - 66 - roosted ; Lesser Redpoll - 1 ; Whinchat - 1 - bracken patch at SW edge of reservoir ; Common Sandpiper - 2 ; Oystercatcher - 3 - possibly same as Rivelin Dams, Wyming Brook and Fox Hagg

Aldwarke; Liberty Steel: Peregrine - 1pr - adult pair very active early a.m., hunting & sat on various roofs, chimneys, water towers etc. Female calling frequently. ; Cormorant - 9 - max on pylon @ 0915hrs (probably included some of birds seen on different pylon earlier)

Aston: Green Woodpecker - 1 - 1 calling along Church Lane. Notable reduction in sightings at this location. Used to hear them daily! ; House Martin - 2 - Pair nesting on The Chase

Blackburn Meadows NR: Gadwall - 2 ; Green Sandpiper - 1 - On Ferham Lake. ; Willow Tit - 1 - Calling on Mckays Lagoon.
