Peregrine - 1 - Circling around Forgemasters ; Little Egret - 3 - 3 birds over, appearing to drop down onto river in Don Road area.

- 1 - a drake reported ; Mute Swan - 2+ - pair + 7 cygnets
Ewden Valley:
Woodcock - 1 - Roding before dawn
Fox Hagg, Rivelin:
Pied Flycatcher - 1 - singing near river west of the old filter beds

Greenfinch - 2+ - pair and at least one fledged juv ; Starling - 20+ - several pairs with fledged juvs overhead today ; Blackbird - 5 - including 3 males chasing
