Whirlow Hall Farm: Fieldfare - c 30 - feeding in field for c 15 minutes

Agden Side: Yellow Wagtail - 2 - on old stone wall for split second then head west to dukes rd direction ; Wheatear - 5 - 4 males,1 female ; Fieldfare - 2 ; Raven - 2 ; 319 - 6 - active all day ; Sparrowhawk - 2 - seen in morning & afternoon

Barlow: Treecreeper - 1 ; Nuthatch - 03-Apr - a pair in one territory and two (or the same bird twice!) in the neighbouring territory ; Great Spotted Woodpecker - 1 ; Long-tailed Tit - 2 ; Yellowhammer - 1 ; Mistle Thrush - 4 ; Pied Wagtail - 1

Blacka Moor: Stonechat - 1 - over wintering male ; Meadow Pipit - 20+ - inc males displaying ; Skylark - 12 - 3 singing ; Reed Bunting - 2 - pair ; Curlew - 2

Burbage Rocks: Ring Ouzel - 3+ - 3 together, then about 15 mins later & 400yds up the path, 2 flew from rocks to Carl Wark ; Ring Ouzel - 3

Canklow: Grey Wagtail - 2 - Seen intermittently through day in AMG works.

Canklow Woods: Blackcap - 1 - 1 singing ; Sparrowhawk - 2 - pair displaying

Chatsworth Park: Grey Wagtail - 2

Cinder Hills: Robin - 1 - sing ; Dunnock - 1 - sing ; Blackbird - 1 - sing ; Chiffchaff - 2 - sing

Edale End: Curlew - 2 - Pair calling, with others unseen but calling along Edale Valley ; 319 - 4 - Wheeling & interacting above moors ; Lapwing - 1 - Calling overhead ; 324 - 1 - Brown hare large indivual feeding near hedge and moving skittishly

Elsecar Res: Swallow - 1 - drifted over NE, early afternoon

Fulwood garden: Brambling - 2 - males at feeders ; Nuthatch - 1 ; 319 - 3 - over, including a pair displaying towards Mayfield Valley

Kimberworth: Bullfinch - 2 - Pair on garden seed feeder ; Goldfinch - 4 - 4 together on garden seed feeder ; Goldcrest - 1 - On garden fatball feede - a daily visitor for the last 2 weeks

Ladybooth farm Edale: Swallow - 1 - On wires by road near usual nest-sites ; Pied Wagtail - 1 - On farm roof near usual nest site

Longshaw: Song Thrush - 1 ; Mandarin - 4 - Males & Females ; Tufted Duck - 2 - Male & female

Low Common: 321 - 1 ; Pied Wagtail - 1 - feeding in stubble field ; Linnet - 1+ ; Kestrel - 1 - hunting from copse

Orgreave Lakes: Common Sandpiper - 1 - Earliest Sheffield area record by 4 days ; Willow Warbler - 1 ; Wheatear - 1 - near large mound. ; Common Sandpiper - 1 - still present at 11:00 on central area between two lakes. ; Chiffchaff - 1 - between 2 bridges singing. ; Willow Warbler - 1 - between 2 bridges singing.
